Sonnet I

Hell yeah! I know I'm not Shakespeare (Basterd) and I'll never be, doesn't matter as this is a homework everybody had to make I think it will be just great to have your comments!

Love you guys!

P.S Keep thinking in your costume to wear this Occtober 29th!

SONNET I

The sorrow that I dwell I shall explain:

She was a shade in a full of sun day

-Is a plutonian mistress- everyone tell

In a prison of joy she made me stay.

A blue bird without wings learning to fly

A white house of cards playing to die,

-Is a plutonian mistress- everyone tell

Sudden rash of distress, I couldn’t yell.

Seemed to distend all the worlds in hers

A queen that slaved the voices prisoners

The pressure of a bomb kept in her soul

A lone Ticking-clock all in her reign sole

Hurry my dream, the physicians are here

You could have escaped me but not thee.

Sagradas escrituras

ENJOY

The Flight of Icarus

FALL AND FLIGHT

The Sun breathes, beats like a heart, throbs like a

Nerve. It swells like a penis. It shrinks like a lung.

*

Shivering light shatters on the sea, scatters ten

Billon sequins – gold raining upward—and drowns the merchant

Ship that creeps, buglike, across the fevered folds of an

Insomniac sheet.

The sea makes its bed and does not sleep in it.

The sun never sleeps.

*

The sea quakes. The Sun quivers.

*

The Sun drowns no less than the sea. The sea burns

No less than the Sun.

*

Water is molten ice.

*

Water dropped from the Sun. Water rose from volcanoes.

All water is blazing.

*

Ra! Helios! Mazda! Grant us Audacity!

*

For it rains upon the volcano,

For the olive ripens the thighs of the volcano.

For flies drink at the crater’s lip.

For peasants break the lava.

For worms creep through the ash.

For nymphs and satyrs frolic in the furnace where bread

Bakes and the grape drips and bones are turned into almond

trees.

*

Sun and water rain equally upon the volcano.

*

The volcano convulses the sea. Slime leaps to the Sun;

Ooze moves

*

Existence glides from fire to water, from water to fire.

*

Now: a boy falls out of the Sun. Beneath, the burning sea.

*

The Universe is tumbling through his head.

*

The Sun swims above.

The sky blinks. The ship sails. The almond blooms. And the

Sea hurtles up from its bed to greet the sudden son.

*

Between water and water.

Fire and fire.

*

Now

LEVIATHANS

The First Moment.

Earth is an egg forever about to hatch.

*

Earth is full of monsters. The ant is a dragon to the

Greenfly.

The greenfly is a beast on the grass.

*

Earth is a laboratory in which Creation toils extremely at

The edge of Reality.

*

Creation is seeking Reality.

*

All monsters are experiments in the form of Reality.

*

What is wrong with the two-headed toad is that neither

Head thinks.

*

Life is impossible. Creation specializes in impossibility.

*

The laws of physics prove that neither elephants nor Man

Can fly.

*

The creation of the first amoeba was an achievement greater

Than the extinction of the dinosaurs. The first amoeba was impossible.

*

Life raped inert matter. Pity, then, the shock suffered by

Pointless atoms. The shock is our own.

*

Creation knows nothing but extremes and adores equally the

Virus and the Tyranossaurus rex.

*

The first cell that learned to divide accomplished an act

More astounding than all subsequent life. The first cell was

Impossible.

The first cell was a monster.

*

The Devonian seas were patrolled by scorpions twenty metres

Long. These perished because they were not great enough for

The future.

*

Between the extreme edge of the Universe and the extreme

Centre exists nothing but the extreme.

*

Nature abhors moderation. Nature is extravagant and

Prodigal. It neither saves nor spares.

Let us follow Nature.

*

There is a spider so monstrous that, in order to mate, she

Must spin a bauble to dangle coyly before the timid, tiny male.

Enticed by such shining promise, the male scurries into her web

Where, stroked by her seductive legs, he copulate with this

Mother of his species.

Their joys completed, then she consumes him, throwing away

His shriveled shell and her courting gift together. She will

Not have rubbish lying about her web.

All males of this species are virgin.

*

How elegant the spider displays Nature’s economy and delicate

Sense of fun

*

The forelimbs of Tyrannosaurus rex withered because he

Was not yet ready to write.

*

The first ape that grasped stone and chipped it was a

Genius equal to Pythagoras.

*

Innocence belongs to the beasts.

Innocence resides in no sense.

Injured innocence is a wounded panther.

Hola ODDS!

The Odd Survey! ¿Por qué las chicas de las películas (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) Nunca saben que el monstruo está tras ellas?
